World Mental Health Day 2025

Pupils made and sold within the school green ribbon badges to support World Mental Health Day 2025.

The Student Council were delighted to donate €133 to the Kerry Mental Health Association.

Daffodil Day

Beautiful paper daffodils were handmade by pupils to sell both within the school and through some local businesses.

The Student Council would like to thank not only the school community but also our local Spar, The Beach Box & the Village Pharmacy for their support in helping to sell the paper daffodils.  Thank you also to Park Gate Coffee, Tralee for their support.

A total of €775 was raised and donated to the Kerry Cancer Support Trust.

Our Wellbeing Wall

Children signed their names on paper hearts which were strung and formed the centerpiece to our Wellbeing Wall. The children also dress pictures to represent their happiness.

A fantastic wholesschool activity.

Easer Raffle

The school held an Easter Raffle to raise funds to upgrade our school yard.

The Student Council helped to create hampers as prizes. We would like to thank everyone helped with this fundraiser.  A special thank you to our local Spar shop - shoutout to Michéal Lynch! With their help we were able to display and sell raffle tickets in store.

The raffle was a huge success which allowed us to purchase some new picnic benches for the school playground.

Bake Sale

Thank you to our school community for making this year’s bake sale such a wonderful success. We received fantastic support from so many families who contributed a variety of delicious-looking treats.

The Student Council worked hard alongside Ms. Tarrant to organise the bake sale and set up the classroom to facilitate the event. A fantastic total of €712 was raised, which will go towards funding extra-curricular activities and further developing the school yard.
